A collection inspired by the depth of textured plaster walls and blush pink clouds at Sunset from Ontario skies. I experimented by adding three new supplies to my practice. Using hot pressed watercolour paper, white gouache paint with French Ultramarine blue watercolour paint while continuing to use my photography as reference, I was pleased at how this brought a freshness to the work. I also found some inspiration looking at Tom Thomson's work specifically the colours he used in a little sketch of Algonquin park.
